The Business Development Project Manager will have responsibility for a variety of tasks in support of the overall business development efforts. In working closely with Business Development Managers and Directors, the individual will lead a group of three Business Development Assistants to help with pitches, RFP, events and other related projects, and serve as a key liaison to the Digital Marketing team. The role will help ensure that marketing materials and related materials (such as mailing lists and experience records) are updated and stored consistently; identify areas of necessary improvement and standard processes, and work with team to initiate changes to enhance overall efficiency; serve as the lead trainer and overall sounding board/resource for new hires in the department; and assist with various department-wide tasks, including reporting, budgets and referral database management.

Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in law firm marketing and project management involving multiple stakeholders. Supervisory experience required. Exceptional interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills are critical to success as are collegial, collaborative and team player attributes. Candidate must be a self-starter who thrives on managing numerous high visibility projects on varying timetables. Candidate should have strong to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and some knowledge of applications specific to the legal field.
